Qualifications for Commercial Construction Estimators :

• Required : 3-5 years of commercial estimating experience, preferably with a General Contractor (GC) or developer
• Possess an analytical and problem-solving mindset
• Self-motivated team player
• Exceptional ability to plan and prioritize tasks
• Capable of multitasking with meticulous attention to detail, meeting stringent deadlines

Responsibilities for Commercial Construction Estimators :

• Prepare precise and detailed cost estimates, encompassing quantity take-offs, line item breakdowns, and subcontractor summaries
• Collaborate with various departments to establish the scope of work
• Develop cost budgets utilizing historical data, unit pricing, subcontractor / vendor proposals, and established methodologies
• Procure, disseminate, and oversee plans or specifications as directed
• Maintain up-to-date unit prices within estimating programs
• Verify existing conditions of vacancies and integrate discovered conditions into budgets and estimates
