Estimator - Commercial Construction Benefits :

• Salary Range : $70K - $90K, plus 100% paid health benefits for employees and dependents
• Generous PTO and sick time
• 13 paid holidays plus an 8-hour floating holiday

Estimator - Commercial Construction Responsibilities :

• Analyze project plans, specifications, and documents to fully understand the scope of work
• Conduct site visits and evaluations to identify project requirements and challenges
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, and project managers to clarify project details
• Develop accurate and competitive cost estimates for labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractor services
• Utilize estimating software and tools to generate comprehensive cost estimates
• Research material and labor costs, industry standards, and market trends to ensure competitive estimates
• Present cost estimates to stakeholders, explaining the breakdown of costs and justifying the estimates
• Collaborate with procurement and sourcing teams to obtain accurate pricing from subcontractors and suppliers

Estimator - Commercial Construction Requirements :

• Bachelor's degree in construction management, civil engineering, or a related field preferred
• Proven experience as a Commercial Construction Estimator (minimum of 3 years)
• Strong mathematical and analytical skills with meticulous attention to detail
• Proficiency in estimating software and tools, such as Bluebeam, Sage, or Procore
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills to effectively convey complex technical information
• Strong negotiation and interpersonal skills to collaborate with subcontractors, suppliers, and project team members
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Familiarity with local building codes and regulations
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to project sites as needed
