About the Position
Position is responsible for planning and facilitating recreational programs, in conjunction with second Recreation Assistant, which meet the needs of the residents. Recreational programs to develop and maintain cognitive functioning, enhance creativity, promote self-confidence, encourage socialization, and foster community involvement. Position is required to complete all regulated paperwork (assessments, progress notes, MDS, care plans).

Certification as a Recreation Therapist required.
Minimum of two years’ previous experience in recreation therapy with seniors required with previous supervisory preferred.
Excellent verbal and written communication skill required.
Must have computer skills in basic word processing.
Must possess the ability to deal tactfully with others.
