What you get to do:

  • Manage store operations including people, sales, staffing, scheduling, store growth, expenses, mission integration, budgeting, safety, and other retail duties.
  • Assist with human resource goals by recruiting, selecting, onboarding, training, developing, coaching, rewarding, and managing team member performance.
  • Implement and sustain department standard operating procedures and standard work guides to maintain standards of store presentation, organization, facility layout and maintenance, quality control, safety standards and all company policies and procedures.
  • Maintain a consistent presence throughout store, engaging and seeking feedback from team members to understand opportunities for store improvement.
  • Support Goodwill NCW’s mission through employment and training of people with different abilities.

What we need from you:

  • At least 3 years of retail management experience.
  • Exceptional communication skills.
  • Experience in leading, developing and empowering others.
  • Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent time management and prioritization skills.
  • At least an intermediate skill-level with Microsoft Office products.
  • Regular, timely attendance in compliance with the work schedule.

Physical Requirements

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by a team member to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

  • Work is performed both in a standard office environment and retail stores with extensive team member contact and frequent interruptions.
  • Primary function requires sufficient physical ability and mobility to work in an office and retail store setting; to sit for prolonged periods of time; to occasionally stoop, bend, kneel, crouch, reach, twist, lift, carry, push and/or pull light to moderate amounts of weight.
  • Operate office and retail store equipment requiring repetitive hand movement and fine coordination, including use of a computer keyboard.
  • Travel to other locations using various modes of private and commercial transportation.
  • Verbally communicate to exchange information.
