Summary: Responsible for supervising residents in our work release program at Tampa Bay Community Corrections Center.

• Supervises residents during structured and unstructured times.
• Performs three random head counts per shift, to include when coming on and going off duty.
• Transports residents to authorized destination and to returns to facility.
• Reads, initials, records and assures compliance of all data in regard to case notes, daily log entries, medications, meal reports, cafeteria supervision, nightly clean‑up, linen exchange and sign‑in/ sign‑out.
• Introduces and orients all new residents to the center rules, regulations and procedures.
• Searches residents' person (pat down) and living areas (rooms, lockers and vehicles) on a monthly and as‑directed basis.
• Tests residents for alcohol use, completing all necessary paperwork.
• Responsible for collection of urine specimens and documentation.

Qualifications: High school diploma or GED. Fluent reading skills. Complex math skills (%, division, multiplication, statistical analysis). Subject to background screens. Previous experience in a residential facility or knowledge of substance abuse/corrections/law enforcement field is preferred. Subject to drug testing.
