Job Summary:

We're seeking a dynamic Maintenance Manager to lead our team in ensuring top-notch installation, repair, and upkeep operations across our company’s facilities. From hands-on maintenance tasks to supervising our Maintenance I and Maintenance II teams, you'll play a pivotal role in maintaining our buildings, grounds, and equipment at their best. Essential Job Functions:

• Dive into hands-on repairs and maintenance of machinery, buildings, equipment, plumbing, HVAC, and electrical systems across all Goodwill facilities.
• Take charge of scheduling major repairs through vendors, all while meticulously maintaining records on repairs, maintenance, and vendor interactions.
• Transform our grounds into showcases of excellence, ensuring immaculate lawn care, landscaping, and efficient snow removal.
• Be the guardian of safety, ensuring fire extinguishers and sprinkler systems are inspected, maintained, and ready for action.
• Keep our indoor environments comfortable and efficient by servicing and maintaining heating and air conditioning units.
• Lead the charge on enforcing safety rules and regulations, providing engaging training as needed, and swiftly completing incident reports.

Educational Requirements:

• Build on your foundation with a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Dive into the role with practical experience and knowledge of building maintenance.
• Show off your expertise with a Mechanical Journeyman’s license, Refrigerant Recovery Certificate, and First-Class Stationary Engineer’s License.
• Bring your hands-on skills to the table, including plumbing, carpentry, and welding experience.
• Lead with experience, as supervisory experience is preferred, ideally with two to four years under your belt.

Physical Requirements:

• Get ready to tackle a variety of physical tasks, from climbing to lifting, bending to kneeling, and beyond.
• Show your strength with medium to heavy lifting, with a maximum of 50 lbs. lifted and frequent handling of objects up to 25 lbs.
• Be prepared to push/pull heavy loads, with maximums of 50 lbs. (one-man lift) and 100 lbs. (two-man lift), and frequent handling of objects up to 25 lbs.
