Goodwill Industries of Southeastern Wisconsin is Hiring a Grant Coordinator Near Des Plaines, IL

Goodwill TalentBridge is partnering with a premier client located in Des Plaines, IL in search of a temporary Grant Coordinator.
This is a 5 to 6 week project on a temporary status.
Hybrid (remote and onsite combo)
Flexible hours (40 hours a week) between 8:00am and 6:00pm Monday - Friday.
$26/hr.
Summary: As the Grant Coordinator you will be responsible for project management for instructors and students who are eligible to partake in the grant.
Job Responsibilities:
  • Manage multiple aspects of the College Bridge grant program and ensure that all program goals are met.
  • Assist with the development, coordination, and oversight of a targeted student recruitment plan for College Bridge Program participants.
  • Work closely with the areas of Admissions and Registration, Advising, Continuing Education, and other departments to ensure excellent customer service and successful completion of student enrollment processes.
  • Collaborate with Student Experience Navigator and Health Career Advisor to monitor and track completion of program requirements, wrap around support referrals, and student advocate services.
  • Participate in targeted events throughout the district to promote and garner interest for the College Bridge Grant Program.
  • Coordinate the intake and orientation process for all prospective College Bridge participants.
  • Serve as liaison with all external partners for programming, recruitment, enrollment, and support.
  • Maintain grant performance reports; maintain and ensure accurate and complete data for compliance.
  • Collect and maintain student demographic and outcome data to generate monthly/semester/annual reports to evaluate and document performance and progress of students/project.
  • Manage, monitor, and coordinate the administration of the grant to ensure the adherence of budgeting and administrative policies, procedures, and agency requirements.
  • Work with the leadership and relevant internal departments to establish employer connections for recruitment and job opportunities post program completion.
Job Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in education, marketing, business, social science, or related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience from which comparable ability and knowledge can be acquired.
  • Two (2) years of relevant working experience.
  • Evidence of a demonstrated commitment to the advancement of racial equity.
  • Ability to work in a multi-ethnic and multicultural environment with students, faculty, and staff.
  • Expert oral and written communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in organizing and planning.
  • Effective customer service skills, relates well to diverse populations.
  • Proficient in computer skills, including Microsoft applications, social networks, and possesses the ability to learn the student tracking system quickly.
