Position Duties:


  • Participates with members in planning and implementing all aspects of the Clubhouse Model working side by side to engage members in work-ordered day activities including social and recreational activities in accordance with Clubhouse International
  • Transportation of members for the purpose of assisting the member in employment, community recreational activities, community resources or services, outreach and daily work ordered day attendance and operations in alignment with Clubhouse International
  • Assists clubhouse members in realizing their
  • Assists clubhouse members in developing and securing transitional employment (TE), supported independent or enclave placement positions including evaluating, coaching, fading and coverage supports in alignment for Clubhouse International
  • Effectively case note and document services relative to member’s progress utilizing written and electronic case noting formats.
  • Performs community-based outreach activities to meet member and program Promote Clubhouse philosophy, and assist members to publicize program for member reach out.
  • Assists members in moving towards greater self-sufficiency, choice, and increased participation in the community.
  • Promotes the development of members’ aspirations regarding Clubhouse participation, employment, education, housing and social involvements. Staff and members together formulate plans for progressing towards these goals.
  • Responds to needs and problems of members with practical guidance and advice geared toward realizing aspirations, cooperation with others.
  • Participates with members in Clubhouse programs providing opportunities for wellness and social recreational
  • Engages cooperatively with members and other staff in developing Clubhouse policies and in advancing the purposes and welfare of the Clubhouse as a whole.
  • Assists members in obtaining utilizing community services and resources, as needed.
  • Cooperates with other staff to help assure each member receives the services best suited for their individual needs.

POSITION
Facilitates the Clubhouse program with direct, inclusive and collegial member involvement. Performs an array of duties aligned with the Clubhouse International Standards for Clubhouse Programs to support consistent engagement of the membership throughout the work- ordered day.

OTHER:
Must possess valid driver’s license, proof of insurance and driving record acceptable to organization’s insurance carrier. Must be able to obtain Chauffeur’s license within 90 days of employment to transport members in agency vehicles. Ability to work flexible schedules with evenings/weekends/holidays. May require staff member to work a split shift. Annual criminal background check may be required of employees serving mental health trainees within behavioral health services programs Commitment to the belief in the possibility of recovery for people with serious mental illness.
