Store Assistant Manager Summary Assist store manager in managing retail store effectively to achieve sales goals and manage expense budget. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Assist store manager with managing budgeted sales and expense to revenue (E/R).Demonstrate the ability to effectively perform the duties of opening and closing the store as needed.Trains and supervises store employees in retail procedures.Display and model excellent customer service.Performs stocking, display, and inventory duties.Enforces retail sales and donation policy and procedures according to the retail procedures manual.Must work a flexible schedule to comply with the needs of the store.Other duties as assigned. Supervisory Requirements Direct supervision of employees and volunteers in absence of Store Manager. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities High school diploma or general education degree (GED).Experience in retail operations preferred but not required.Must maintain the ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Qualifications Must maintain the ability to pass a criminal background check and random drug screens.
