ABOUT GOODR
We create and sell $25 active sunglasses for anyone. No slip, no bounce, all polarized, all fun. Interested in joining our team? Keep reading.
OUR VALUES: We have two core values: Fun & Authenticity.
  • FUN = Being sh*tty isn't fun. Agreed? Taking pride in your work, finding joy in being GREAT, and celebrating wins... and losses. Now, that's fun!
  • AUTHENTICITY = Focusing on being authentic over being liked. (Next-level guru stuff. Count it.)
Fun Fact: We do not allow email to be sent internally. Carrier pigeons only. JK, we use Slack.
AUTONOMY: We practice autonomy, empowerment, and accountability so that every team member can be in control of their own life.
  • HYBRID WORKING: Most roles are only required to be in office every Tuesday and Thursday with the occasional third day thrown in.
PURPOSE: We want to leave the world better than we found it in ways that are unique to an individual's personal journey. But, what does that even mean??? It means:
  • PURPOSE PROJECTS: Team members have the opportunity to create their own project for making the world a better place.
Fun Fact: One purpose project resulted in a team member raising over 1 million dollars to build a track for a Los Angeles school!
ABOUT THE ROLE
Are you the person who loves checking boxes and bringing order to chaos? Building processes and seeing a project from start to finish may seem like a drag to most, but to you it is nirvana. You are knowledgeable about building workflows, developing timelines, and project coordination. You love working on multiple projects with multiple people, holding teams accountable, and you thrive in an autonomous environment.
If that sounds like you, GLORIOUS! You might be the Creative Services Project Coordinator we are looking for! An ultimate control freak (in a good way) who loves managing brand identity, visual content, and product strategy projects.
RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Serve as the project coordinator for our Creative Department (we call departments Herds) focusing on creating copy/design/photo/video content for all platforms, designing our amazing sunnies, identifying & sustaining our brand identity, and determining our product strategy across all product categories
  • Coordinate and track the execution of tasks while closely monitoring project deadlines and proactively renegotiating due dates as needed
  • Monitor and analyze team bandwidth to proactively assign tasks
  • Ingest, assign, track, and manage incoming requests from other teams
  • Improve upon and build processes to create more efficient workflows as we evolve and grow
  • Effectively communicate the status of projects to key role holders
  • Wrangle unicorns and tend to the octopus garden
  • Basically Marie Kondo-ing the heck out of our marketing processes and task management
  • This role is in the Creative Department and will report directly to the Chief Creative Officer
  • Perform other related duties as assigned
ABOUT THE IDEAL CANDIDATE
  • Loves everything above
  • May or may not have a degree...we don't care (bonus points for Basset Hound Science or Dinosaur Law)
  • Asks a lot of questions
  • 3 years proven working experience in project management
  • Project management software experience is a must (Asana, Monday.com, Trello, Basecamp, etc). MAJOR BONUS for Asana
  • Is excellent at monitoring timelines to ensure deadlines are met and/or renegotiated as needed
  • Experience handling creative asset workflows is a BIG plus
  • Loves building and improving processes
  • Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skills
  • A self-starter who can rely on their skill in prioritizing and organizing their workflow to coordinate multiple teams
  • Dependable with the willingness to take the initiative to work collaboratively and with a sense of urgency (a team player!)
  • Enthusiastically approaches opportunities to work with various teams
  • Loves holding people accountable and has mastered it
  • Loves the work more than a paycheck
  • Thinks planning and organizing are fun
  • Loves to create order out of chaos
  • Is happy to give away credit to their team
  • Loves getting and giving feedback
  • Is into personal growth
  • Thinks Fun is being great (not partying)
  • Is proactive and an independent problem solver! (Can you google a question?)
WHAT YOU GET
  • A role at a company that is going to the moon
  • The opportunity to show up every day and have fun
  • The ability to learn and grow as a person
  • Paid vacation (we encourage you to take time off!)
  • Flexible work environment (want to go for a run at 11am on Wednesday, go for it!)
  • Paycheck... obviously. Salary range: $70k - $80k, final number dependent on experience
  • Medical, Dental, and Vision benefits
  • 401(K) with company matching
  • Financial Wellness Counseling
  • Sunglasses. Duh.

About goodr

We are recklessly committed to fun, blah, blah, blah, sunglasses. We started goodr because we think working out is fun and your gear should be too. At our core, were all about creating fun, fashionable, and functional sunglasses that everyone can afford. Were athletes and saw a problem that needed to be solved. When we looked at the sunglasses category, we found it was full of overpriced, ugly product. Our goal was to create the best pair of fitness sunglasses for under $40 and we did it! Our OG Running Sunglasses were Runners World Magazines Gear of the Year and Mens Journal Gear of the Year!... Our BFG Sunglasses will be taking home the prize for Runner's World Magazine's Gear of the Year 2018 and our newest release, Runway goodrs, will most likely win the award for the Best Pair of Sunglasses In the History of Mankind someday.
