Responsibilities
Under the supervision of a physician and the Respiratory Therapy Director, the sleep lab technician administers prescribed sleep study procedures, performs a variety of technical procedures and assists in the cleaning, maintenance, and disinfection of sleep study equipment.
Qualifications or Skills Required
The sleep lab technician will perform overnight sleep studies one to two nights a week. They should display excellent verbal, communication, and interpersonal skills. In addition, it is also vital they demonstrate a commitment to provide exceptional service to the patients as well as the ability to work on an independent basis with minimal supervision. Certification required.
