Responsibilities

Responsible for delivery and supervision of resident care through the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation. Prepares and maintains records and reports as required.

Qualifications or Skills Required

Graduate of an accredited Texas School of Vocational Nursing. Must have advanced knowledge of nursing theories and practices. Must have effective oral and written communication skills. Must be able to stand and/or walk for moderate periods of time. Must be able to bend, stoop, reach, push, pull, and lift up to 50 pounds. Occasional heavy lifting may be required when a resident becomes weak or helpless.
