CHARGE NURSE (LPN or RN)
General Purpose
The Charge Nurse is responsible for the daily supervision of CNAs to ensure the delivery of patient care as ordered by the Physician.
Qualifications:
• Must hold a current license as an RN and/or LPN in the state of TN.
• Must possess leadership and ability to cooperate with other staff or personnel.
• Must be competent in organizing, planning and directing nursing care.
• Must have patience, tact, professional disposition and be able to handle patients based on whatever functioning level they may have.
• Must handleemergencies, perform emergency care and give emergency instructions as necessary.
• Must communicate with the public, visitors and patients tactfully.
