Description
We are seeking a person who has successfully managed a bakery or retail or food service department for at least two years. This position requires strong skills and experience in all aspects of baking, as well as strong leadership skills. We are looking someone who demonstrates a high level of organization, clear communication, follow through and people skills. Our ideal candidate has a passion for baking and for working with people through the art of good leadership. The ability to design and maintain department systems is also critical.

Responsibilities include:
-Oversight of ordering, product quality and sets
-Maintain successful products and innovate new products with our standards
-Train and maintain baking procedures, skills, and department operations
-Responsible for costing updates, pricing, and margin blending
-Responsible for category management
-Maintain excellent margins with fair and competitive pricing
-Maintain sanitation and presentation standards for the department
-Handle all personnel development and administration
Requirements
Requirements:
-Buying experience in a professional bakery, kitchen, or retail operation
-Minimum 2 years of Bakery management, including personnel
-Computer skills to place orders and create purchase orders; ability to efficiently use Excel or Numbers.
-Aptitude to operate all department equipment
