Accounting Manager – Construction (Hampton, Virginia) OverviewThe Accounting Manager – Construction (Hampton, Virginia) is responsible for all areas relating to financial reporting. This position will be responsible for developing and maintaining accounting principles, practices, and procedures to ensure accurate and timely financial statements.
The Accounting Manager works closely with the management team providing reporting and analysis of results versus budget at the overall company level, department level, and project level. We are seeking an individual who is experienced with job costing, overhead allocation, work-in-progress schedule preparation and analysis, accounts receivable and accounts payable; and who is a great team player with strong people and leadership skills.
Accounting Manager Qualifications

- Experience with Sage 300 Construction and Real Estate management software is required.
- Proven knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting principles, practices, standards, laws and regulations.
- Compensation dependent on experience and work history.
