Job Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and responsible Delivery Driver to join our team. As a Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for safely transporting goods and products to customers in a timely manner. This is a crucial role in ensuring customer satisfaction and maintaining our reputation for exceptional service.
Duties:
- Safely operate a delivery vehicle, such as a box truck or van, to transport goods to customer locations
- Load and unload products from the vehicle using proper lifting techniques
- Plan and follow the most efficient routes for timely deliveries
- Communicate with customers to confirm delivery details and address any concerns or issues
- Provide excellent customer service by being professional, courteous, and helpful
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including mileage, fuel usage, and delivery times
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance tasks, such as checking fluid levels and tire pressure
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations to ensure safe driving practices
Qualifications:
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Previous experience as a Delivery Driver or in a similar role is preferred
- Ability to operate manual transmission vehicles is required
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with customers and team members
- Excellent time management skills to ensure on-time deliveries
- Physical stamina to lift and carry heavy items as needed
- Familiarity with warehouse operations is a plus
