Responsibilities
- Oversee food safety handling and sanitation practices for kitchen staff
- Plan and delegate food preparation tasks
- Train and develop cooks as needed
- Place orders and manage inventories
- Bake bagels to keep up with business levels while managing other employees
- Cross-train into each position in the restaurant
- Maintain food costs and assist with developing new recipes
Qualifications
- Strong attention to detail with exceptional organizational skills
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate the team
- Relevant food safety and handling certificate
- Experience as a chef is a plus
