Woodland Empire is looking for well rounded hospitality professionals (that love beer) with experience in both the ‘front’ and ‘back’ of the house to join a small, savvy tap room team. The ultimate goal is to create a single group capable of creating great guest experiences through beer, service and food, together. We’re talking about real nice people with real experience cooking in commercial kitchens that also have good people skills. 

Required Attributes and Duties

• Take ownership of and pride in both their own work and that of their peers. 
• Become proficient in tap tending and kitchen jobs.
• Work within a team to create efficiencies in service. 
• Foster a fun and hospitable environment for our guests.
• Learn about and promote our flavorful, high-quality beers. 
• Curate an overall amazing experience that guests can only receive in our taproom.

Why so much emphasis on teamwork and cross training? Two reasons: 

1. We’re a small organization, so a dynamic team is key to creating efficiencies that allow us to be successful. (Not to mention having the schedule flexibility to give people time off. :) 
2. We want to create hospitality jobs that don't relegate the great risk/reward of tip based compensation to the Front of House. Yes, we’re talking about an equal tip pool shared back to front with no sub minimum ‘server wages’.
