Job Title : Swim Instructor / Lifeguard
Reports to : Deck Supervisor
FLSA Status : Non-Exempt
Summary : Works as part of a dynamic crew to instruct kiddos aged 4 months - 12 years on water safety and proper swim techniques with a thorough understanding of Goldfish Swim School curriculum and best practices.
Uses SwimPlay and games to facilitate confidence and learning. Participates in monthly team-building meetings and events to hone lifesaving skills and build workplace culture.

Safety Standards : The safety of our swimmers, parents and team members is of the utmost importance. Goldfish Swim School follows all CDC and WHO safety standards along with following any local guidelines.
Education / Experience :
Must be at least 16 years old to apply. Experience as a certified lifeguard, youth sports instructor / coach, camp counselor and / or childcare provider preferred but not required.
Swimming experience is preferred. Clear background check is required.
Certificates and Licenses :
Lifeguard, CPR, AED and First Aid certification required within 90 days of hire. Paid, on site training provided.
Work Environment :
While performing this job, the employee is regularly exposed to heat and humidity. Noise level is usually moderate.
