What our Nurse Assistants do:

• Assist patients with activities of daily living, including oral care, bathing, positioning, transferring, and elimination
• Examining patients to detect issues requiring medical care, including open wounds, bruises, or blood in the urine.
• Assist residents with ambulation, and transfers, either from wheelchairs to their beds
• Assist residents with meal preparation, making sure they get proper and regular nourishment
• Monitor and assist residents with their medication and intake
• Monitor and record important vital signs and report any changes to the Registered Nurse or management
• Assist residents with regular routine exercises as prescribed
• Maintain a log with all vital information

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED require
• 18 years old and above
• Proof of COVID vaccination
• BLS Certification
• Ability to undergo a criminal background check
• Ability to lift 50lbs or more as needed
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English proficiently as needed for the job
• Willingness to be trained
