JOB SUMMARY: The Maintenance Specialist will play a crucial role in ensuring the optimal functioning and reliability of our extensive fleet of vehicles. This position involves a hands-on approach to the maintenance, repair, and overall management of fleet vehicles, ensuring they meet safety and operational standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical maintenance, an eye for detail, and a commitment to upholding the highest standards of fleet efficiency and safety.

  Routine Maintenance: Conduct regular maintenance checks and services on fleet vehicles to ensure they operate efficiently and safely.

  Repair Work: Diagnose and repair mechanical issues in fleet vehicles, including engines, transmissions, electrical systems, and other components.

• 
  Inspection and Compliance: Perform thorough inspections of fleet vehicles to ensure compliance with safety regulations and company standards.

• 
  Vendor Collaboration: Collaborate with key partners and vendors to ensure a steady supply of high-quality parts and services, negotiate cost-effective deals, and maintain strong professional relationships for ongoing fleet maintenance needs.

  Technical Support: Provide technical support and guidance to other transportation staff and drivers on vehicle maintenance best practices.

  Problem Solving: Quickly identify and resolve unforeseen mechanical issues with fleet vehicles, minimizing downtime.

• 
  Safety Focus: Uphold and advocate for stringent safety standards in all maintenance activities.

• Performs other related and assigned duties as necessary.
