Golden State Dermatology (GSD) is a comprehensive medical, surgical and cosmetic dermatology practice with locations throughout the Bay area and central California. The Senior Accounts Receivable Specialist duties will include, but wont be limited to:

• Manage a team of offshore collectors

• Work account aging reports and meeting collection goals.

• Review denied claims in a timely manner and contact insurance companies to obtain information as necessary.

• Re-bill corrected claims as necessary

• File appeals (first level, second level, peer to peer)

• Communicate professionally with insurance companies, physicians, and clinic staff

• Perform other duties as needed

Qualifications/Skills

• Minimum of 3-year billing experience

• Minimum of 1 year leadership experience

• Understanding of EOBS, Medicare guidelines, CCI edits, and appeals processes

• Experience with eCW and EMA (Modernizing Medicine) a plus

• Microsoft Word and Excel
