Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Medical/Chiropractic Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing outstanding support to our healthcare professionals, ensuring smooth clinic operations, and delivering exceptional patient experiences.
Responsibilities:
- Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations, procedures, and treatments.
- Perform administrative tasks such managing patient records,
- Greet and check-in patients, obtain medical histories, and prepare them for treatment.
- Educate patients on treatment plans, exercises, and lifestyle modifications recommended by healthcare providers.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of treatment rooms and common areas.
- Handle incoming phone calls, inquiries, and requests with professionalism and efficiency.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to optimize patient care and satisfaction.
- Adhere to all medical and safety protocols to ensure a safe and healthy environment for patients and staff.
- Assist with inventory management, ordering supplies, and stocking clinic supplies as needed.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree or certification in medical assisting preferred.
- Prior experience working in a medical or chiropractic setting is highly desirable.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact effectively with patients, healthcare providers, and colleagues.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in basic computer skills and familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems.
- Compassionate and empathetic demeanor with a genuine desire to help others.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of patient information and adhere to HIPAA regulations.
