_The Golden Lamb, a historic inn and restaurant nestled in Lebanon, Ohio, is looking for dedicated individuals to join our team as Server Assistants.

This multifaceted role serves as a stepping stone towards a future in server positions, providing valuable experience in three essential areas of restaurant service: Busser, Food Runner, and Bar Back. Successful candidates will have the opportunity to learn and grow within a renowned historic establishment. _

Key Responsibilities:

Busser:

- Maintaining the cleanliness and organization of dining areas, including clearing and resetting tables in a timely and efficient manner.

- Assisting servers in various tasks to ensure a smooth and seamless dining experience for guests. Including but not limited to:

• Refilling water glasses and providing additional items such as salt and pepper, utensils, bread, or condiments.

• Assisting in restocking server stations as needed.

• Clearing dirty plates and pre-bussing tables.

Food Runner:

- Coordinating closely with the kitchen team to ensure the accurate and timely delivery of dishes to guests.

- Verifying the presentation and accuracy of food orders before serving them to guests.

- Providing attentive customer service by addressing any inquiries related to the dishes being served.

Bar Back:

- Maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the bar area, ensuring a welcoming and polished atmosphere for guests.

- Restocking ice, bar supplies and inventory, and ensuring the proper functioning of bar equipment.

These responsibilities may vary. Server Assistants play a crucial role in supporting the overall efficiency and effectiveness of the dining experience for customers.

Qualifications:

- Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred but not required.

- Excellent communication skills and a strong commitment to providing exceptional customer service.

- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays, reflecting the commitment to excellent service at The Golden Lamb.

Pay: $12.00 - $19.00 per hour
