Job Overview:
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our healthcare team. As a Registered Nurse(DON), you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality care to patients in various healthcare settings. This is a full-time position.
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, monitoring vital signs, and assessing patient conditions
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement care plans
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations of patients' health status
- Document patient information, including medical history, symptoms, and treatment plans
- Review and analyze documentation for accuracy and compliance with Medicare guidelines
- Advocate for patient rights and ensure their well-being and safety
- Provide leadership and guidance to nursing staff
- Manage and coordinate patient care in collaboration with interdisciplinary teams
- Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding healthcare management
- Ensure adherence to infection control protocols and maintain a clean and safe environment
Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Registered Nurse
- Experience in nurse management or leadership roles preferred
- Knowledge of Medicare guidelines and documentation review
- Familiarity with resident rights and regulations in healthcare settings
- Experience in hospice care, home health, or similar settings is a plus
- Proficient in developing care plans and utilizing electronic medical record systems
