The Golden Door Safety and Security office is responsible for the loss prevention and safety functions of beautiful destination resort. This person will respond to guest and employee emergencies, complete incident reports, and maintain proper reporting. Must be guest and risk focused. Strong written and verbal communication skills, and customer service experience preferred.

Responsibilities will include:

We are currently seeking someone to fill the 2-10pm shift.

*Foot patrol of the grounds, courts, back of the house and resort areas.

*Observation, assessment, notation, and communication of risk to include trespassers, suspicious persons or activities, equipment malfunctions, threat to person or property, potential or imminent emergencies.

*Accurate and full account of patrol to be documented and submitted per company guidelines

*Ability to handle guest, staff, or property emergencies calmly and responsibly

*Write detailed pass downs and incident reports

*Track access to property as well as potentially dangerous situations thru property security system

*Interact professionally with guests and staff as needed with the ability to deliver the highest level of customer service

*Control key and radio check in and out process

*Work on the updating and implementation of Safety and Security training materials

*Enforce property rules, regulations, policies, and procedures

*Work in conjunction with Manager to create and rollout property safety initiatives

*Ability to work in tandem with county police, sheriff and fire departments as needed

*Physical requirements include, exerting up to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 50 pounds of force frequently and/or up to 20 pounds of force constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects. Ability to climb and descend stairways and run.

*Valid CA Guard Card

*2-3 years of experience in safety and security (hospitality preferred)

*Clean Driving record

*CPR/AED/First Aid
