About the Role:

We're looking for a highly motivated and experienced Safety and Security Manager to join our team! The Safety and Security Manager is responsible for developing and implementing security policies, protocols, and procedures.

The ideal candidate will also be responsible for:

• Controlling budgets and monitoring department expenses.
• Training and supervising a team of security officers.
• Attend Manager meetings and work with all departments to determine operational needs.
• Conduct quarterly Safety and Security meetings.
• Coordinate staff when responding to employee and guest incidents, emergencies, and alarms.
• Thoroughly investigate all incidents and fill out appropriate forms.
• Investigate and resolve issues.
• Ensure that pass downs and reports are accurate and reflect all required documentation.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a security manager or similar position.
• Experience using relevant technology and equipment.
• Experience in Hospitality Security preferred.
• Experience in reporting and emergency response planning.
• Excellent knowledge of security protocols and procedures.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills-experience dealing with staff and guests.
• Outstanding organizational and leadership skills.
• Committed and reliable.
• Education in the Security field, Supervisory experience Guard card.

Physical Demands:

• Frequent or occasional need to perform the following physical activities: reaching, bending, pushing, pulling, twisting, lifting, and climbing. Have frequent need to perform standing and walking activities related to inspecting property.
• Constant need to perform the following physical activities: grasping, turning, finger dexterity.
• Frequently needs to stand for long periods of time.
• Lifting/carrying up to 10 lbs. frequently and 25 lbs. occasionally.
• Vision requirements: constant need to view small print. Frequent need to see small details and things clearly beyond arms’ reach.
• Hearing requirements: constant need to speak on telephone and/or two-way radio, respond to public, and converse with staff. Ability to hear fire alarms and emergency equipment.
