REPORTS TO: SENIOR VICE PRESIDENT - CHIEF MARKETING OFFICER

PAY RANGE: $98,600.00 - $115,000.00 ANNUALLY
GENERAL DESCRIPTION:
The Marketing Executive Operational Program Manager support the SVP in furthering their agenda with the entire Marketing organization and Enterprise partners, coordinating strategic action items on behalf of the SVP, assisting in the organization and tracking of the SVP’s priorities, and maintaining traction and awareness of progress until completion. The Marketing Executive Operational Program Manager attends and/or leads various meetings to further priorities and capture requested action and follow-up items for organization and oversight. The Marketing Executive Operational Program Manager will work independently on projects, from conception to completion, and must be able to work under pressure at times to handle a wide variety of activities and confidential matters with discretion.
TASKS, DUTIES, AND FUNCTIONS:
1. Serves as the SVP’s trusted advisor, delegated leader, and implementation manager as appropriate.
2. Provides the SVP independent, informed, smart, and unbiased insight and feedback.
3. Thinks and leads strategically and with influence while providing tactical support to further the Marketing agenda.
4. Organizes and prioritizes critical issues and required information to facilitate change, efficient discussions, and decision-making.
5. Communicates and follows-up with Senior Management on business initiatives, projects, and action items requested by the SVP.
6. Collaborates with the SVP and Marketing Leadership Team to determine priorities, organize and ensure deliverables, and facilitate the appropriate monitoring and tracking to ensure optimal use of resources: people, budgets, and agency.
7. Captures and organizes strategic outcomes, including action and follow-up items requested by the SVP.
8. Maintains a thorough understanding of state and federal laws and regulations related to credit union compliance items pertinent to marketing functions.
9. Develop and maintain an understanding of the pertinent regulatory requirements and risks inherent to job responsibilities, establish, and maintain control activities that mitigate those risks consistent with the Credit Union’s risk appetite, and ensure operational integrity and compliance with applicable regulations.
10. Performs other assignments as required.
PHYSICAL SKILLS, ABILITIES, AND EXERTION UTILIZED IN THE PERFORMANCE OF THESE TASKS:
1. Effective oral, interpersonal, relationship, and written communication skills required to drive Retail Transformation.
2. Must possess sufficient manual dexterity to skillfully operate an on-line computer terminal and other standard office equipment, such as financial calculators, personal computer, facsimile machine and telephone.
ORGANIZATIONAL CONTACTS & RELATIONSHIPS:
1. INTERNAL: All levels of marketing staff, enterprise staff and executive management, and third party agencies.
2. EXTERNAL: Members, credit union industry associations, community and strategic partners, and other internal and external individuals.
QUALIFICATIONS:
1. EDUCATION: Minimum of AA degree in business related courses. Bachelor’s Degree in business or related major preferred.
2. EXPERIENCE: Five plus years of retail banking experience, and retail financial institution change management work. Experience in a MarCom or MarCom-adjacent environment a plus.
3. KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS:
  • Proven work experience as a team leader or project/program manager
  • Superb professionalism, tact, diplomacy, and discretion.
  • Proactive and effective mentality with excellent problem solving and judgment skills in a fast paced setting and with a strong work ethic. Anticipate by identifying issues, needs, options, and solutions before being asked.
  • Thorough knowledge of the Credit Unions strategic goals, business initiatives, and priorities.
  • Quick learner, responsive, ability to multi-task, and strong time and calendar management and organizational skills.
  • Strong project management skills to track multiple concurrent projects and follow-through with senior management as required keeping deliverables and deadlines on track to successful completion.
  • Independent worker with ability to be flexible and work in a team environment
  • Demonstrated advanced proficiency with Microsoft Windows Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint), Adobe Acrobat, Survey tools, and other standard office equipment (telephone, facsimile, copier, etc.):
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with astute attention to grammatical details.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, friendly, humble, patient, and adaptable.
  • Demonstrates exceptional service in all that they do, professionalism, and confidentiality in all interactions and communications.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
1. Prolonged sitting throughout the workday with occasional mobility required.
2. Corrected vision within the normal range.
3. Hearing within normal range. A device to enhance hearing will be provided if needed.
4. Ability to lift 15 lbs. as may be required.
5. Occasional movements throughout the department daily to interact with staff, accomplish tasks, etc.
6. Limited local and statewide travel by car or public conveyance.
7. Unusually long work hours may be required to accomplish tasks.
