Goldbrecht Inc. is Hiring a Supply chain coordinator Near Los Angeles, CA
Key Responsibilities :
- Maintain positive relationships with suppliers and distributors
- Ensure customer satisfaction with timely deliveries
- Foster growth-friendly supply chain practices
- Analyze shipping and delivery data with an eye for optimization
- Coordinate shipping logistics
- Develop profitable purchasing strategies
Ensure accurate documentation
- Support Estimating & Sales; educate team on glass build-up as needed
- Order quantities with accurate dimensions and build-up on time
- Meet lead times and budgets
- Timely communicate order status and shipping status to team members
- Perform monthly forecasts of orders in cooperation with Project Engineers and communicate with suppliers
- Perform quarterly forecasts of orders and inform the finance department about FX funds needed
- Regularly follow up with suppliers to meet or decrease lead times of orders issued
- Communicate budget reviews on a regular basis and proactively communicate with the Estimating and Sales department if issues arise
- Update team members on available material and changes
- QA reporting, internally and with glass suppliers
- Find alternative suppliers to increase independency
- Initiate and support process improvement related to material orders and shipments
- Adopt and improve ERP processes as needed
- Additional tasks as assigned
Qualifications :
- 5 years of experience as a supply chain coordinator
- Understanding of distribution and logistics
- Insight into economic conditions and market dynamics
- Ability to negotiate with suppliers and distributors
- Familiarity with aluminum materials and their properties preferred
- Knowledge of glass and glass build-up preferred
- Demonstrable experience in negotiating prices, terms and conditions
- Experience with NetSuite is a plus
- Ability to communicate effectively
