Summary:

Provides high-level expertise in developing complex SharePoint 2016 applications, SharePoint Online applications, as well as other platforms employed by customer. Defines functional requirements based on business needs, produces and maintains detailed technical documentation, and provides user support on technical issues.

Responsibilities

Essential Job Functions:

• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand project requirements and translate them into technical specifications and software designs

• Conduct unit tests, integration tests, and automated tests to ensure software reliability, scalability, and performance

• Identify and resolve software defects, performance issues, and other technical problems through debugging, testing, and collaboration with team members

• Utilize version control systems (e.g., Git) to manage code repositories, track changes, and collaborate effectively with team members

• Document software designs, code implementations, and technical specifications to facilitate understanding, maintenance, and knowledge sharing

• Work in a fast-paced development environment
• Meet delivery timelines with attention to detail to ensure delivery of responsive solutions

Qualifications

Necessary Skills and Knowledge:

• Participate in team development and provide technical advice/implementation
• Cloud migration knowledge
• Excellent communication skills

• Solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented design principles.

• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail, with the ability to analyze complex technical challenges and propose effective solutions.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, or other relevant discipline OR equivalent years or experience
• Minimum 6 years of SharePoint development experience; and minimum of 3 years working in an agile software development environment
• Demonstrated experience transitioning an agency or customer from SharePoint to Microsoft 365 or another software platform

Preferred Qualifications:

• JSON, Restful, Amazon Web Services/MS Azure experience
• Working understanding of agile processes
• Kubernetes/container knowledge is a plus
