ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Operate mixing equipment to blend food products for use in packaging.
• Ability to understand and follow production batch sheets and work instructions to achieve accurate formulations.
• Accurately record traceability information on production documentation either manually or via an electronic scanning system.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment.
• Perform scheduled sanitation tasks as outlined by the Master Sanitation Schedule.
• Accurately record labor hours against work orders for proper costing of products.
• Perform warehousing tasks by using FIFO.

Job Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Stand Up Counterbalance and Sit Down Counterbalance Forklift experience required.

• Able to understand and follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Standardized Sanitary Operating Procedures (SSOP), FSMA FSP’s (Food Safety Moderation Act, Food Safety Plans) and SQF.
• Computer knowledge for labor reporting.

Minimum Requirements:

• High School Education and 2 – 4 years of related experience or training in the food or beverage industry.
• Must be able to speak, understand, read, and write English

Essential Physical Functions:

• Heavy lifting performed in a fast paced shop environment.
• Regularly required to stand, bend and reach.
• May work at different workstations as production needs require, or shift from one station to another, during the packing process.
