Job Title: Security Officer
Department: Security
Reporting Relationship: Security Supervisor
Status: Full-time/Hourly/Non-Exempt
Starting Wage: $15.00/per hour (with Class D license or 2 years security experience) Insurance -Medical, dental and vision, Vacation, PTO, 401K (up to 4% company match) and more.
Summary of Duties: Normal daily security patrols both on foot and by mechanical methods. Report any and all Security and Safety issues/incidents as prescribed by company and department policy and procedures.
Primary Duties:
Education, Experience, Specialized Skills, and Knowledge Requirements: High School graduate with either current Class D Security License or 2 years previous security experience. Must be able to pass a thorough background investigation. Prefer certification in CPR/First Aid. Must possess excellent interpersonal communication skills and present a professional image. Must have the ability to deal effectively with stressful situations at the time of crisis to allow professional discharge of duties and job performance. Must be available to work outside the parameters of a regular work schedule if needed (extended hours, extra days, etc.).
