Excelsior Defense is currently seeking both Full-time and Part-time security personnel to safeguard our client's premises, assets, and personnel. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining a highly visible presence, preventing any illegal or inappropriate activities, and enforcing access control on the property. This includes conducting regular rounds and monitoring various points throughout the facility.
The primary responsibilities of the security officer include:

1. Protecting the company's property and staff by ensuring a safe and secure environment.
2. Observing for any signs of criminal activity or disorder and promptly investigating disturbances.
3. Acting in a lawful manner to directly defend life or property when necessary.
4. Apprehending criminals and removing violators from the premises.
5. Reporting and detaining any suspicious incidents.
6. Conducting thorough and detailed report writing.

Qualifications for this position:

• Proven work experience as a security officer or in a related role.
• Possession of both a valid Class D Security License and a valid Class G Security License, actively maintained with the State of Florida.
• Ability to operate surveillance systems and emergency equipment.
• Excellent knowledge of public safety and security procedures/protocols.
• Strong surveillance skills and attention to detail.
• Demonstrated integrity and professionalism.
• Proficiency in detailed report writing.
