Hiring Forklift Operators in Houston Texas

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Forklift Operator to join our team. As a Forklift Operator, you will be responsible for operating a forklift to load and unload materials, move products within the distribution center, and perform other warehouse duties as assigned.

Duties:
- Safely and efficiently operate a forklift to move materials and products
- Load and unload trucks, ensuring proper stacking and securing of items
- Transport goods to designated areas within the distribution center
- Perform inventory counts and maintain accurate records of materials handled
- Inspect forklifts before each shift and report any maintenance or safety issues
- Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines while operating the forklift
- Assist with general warehouse duties as needed

Experience:
- Previous experience operating a forklift in a warehouse or distribution center setting
- Familiarity with different types of forklifts such as hi-lo, order picker, and reach truck
- Ability to operate heavy equipment and perform tasks requiring heavy lifting
- Basic math skills for inventory counts and record keeping
- Mechanical knowledge to identify and report any equipment malfunctions or maintenance needs

Requirements:
- Valid certification or license to operate a forklift.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team
