Job Title: SDET with Kafka Testing

Description:

We are seeking a talented SDET (Software Development Engineer in Test) with expertise in Kafka testing to join our team.The ideal candidate will be based in the Weehawken, NJ area and must be available for onsite work 5 days a week. This role requires proficiency in API testing using RestAssured/Selenium, UI testing with Selenium/Selenide automation, data reporting, integration with CI/CD pipelines, and Kafka testing.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform API testing using RestAssured/Selenium to ensure the reliability and functionality of web services.
• Conduct UI testing using Selenium/Selenide automation to validate the user interface of applications.
• Implement data reporting solutions to store UI/API test data and results in a PostgreSQL database and convert it into a dashboard for test results repository.
• Integrate test reporting and management tools with CI/CD pipelines to automate testing processes.
• Conduct Kafka testing from data production in a Kafka cluster to its subsequent consumption, ensuring data integrity and reliability.

Requirements:

• Bachelor s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as an SDET or QA engineer with strong Kafka testing experience.
• Proficiency in API testing using RestAssured/Selenium and UI testing with Selenium/Selenide.
• Experience in designing and implementing data reporting solutions using PostgreSQL and integrating with test management tools.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and experience in integrating testing processes with CI/CD workflows.
• Strong understanding of Kafka architecture and hands-on experience in Kafka testing.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
