Goalbook’s mission is to empower teachers to transform instruction so that ALL students can succeed. We partner with 1,000 school districts across 46 states, working closely with district and school leaders to create scalable change in instructional practice.
Who We're Looking For
At its core, this role implements and champions Goalbook’s visual identity across multiple types of collateral and assets. Our ideal candidate is a keen graphic designer with experience in the education or social impact sector. As a professional, you have a broad range of technical design skills that run the gamut of applications from digital to print, you use design to convey information clearly, you’re mindful of how design impacts a person’s experience with the brand, and you take care of the small things such as file management and file naming conventions.
This is a remote position with some required travel including, but not limited to, onboarding, team events, and professional development opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design digital and print collateral/assets for business applications in alignment with Goalbook’s visual identity. This work includes, but is not limited to:
- Marketing collateral such as case studies, social media graphics, illustrations, and presentation templates
- Sales collateral such as product booklets, product flyers, posters, conference materials, and conference booth displays
- Customer Success collateral, such as professional learning materials and title screens for video trainings
- Visual assets for our public website. Expert positioning content such as guides and white papers
- Manage the organization and storage of Goalbook’s media library, including images, product screenshots, project files, illustration files, and video files.
- Project manage your work, including short-term and long-term projects.
- Stylize PowerPoint and Google Slides presentations- If you have Photography skills, periodically travel and take photos of Goalbook’s customers to add to Goalbook’s media library.
- If you have video editing skills, leverage your design skills to edit videos for a consistent style aligned with Goalbook’s visual identity.
Required Skills & Experience
- 4 years as a professional graphic designer
- Proficiency in Adobe design software- Technical capabilities to design for all types of marketing mediums (print and digital)
- Digital illustration experience
- Excellent interpersonal skills and attention to detail Desirable Skills & Experience
- Photography and/or videography skills
- Experience with Figma
- Experience in the education or social impact sectors- Experience working with web designers or web design
