Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Roll Off Driver to join our team. As a Roll Off Driver, you will be responsible for safely operating roll off trucks and delivering containers to various locations. This is a physically demanding role that requires heavy lifting and driving commercial vehicles.
Responsibilities:
- Safely load and unload roll off containers onto trucks using manual labor
- Drive roll off trucks to designated locations for delivery and pick-up of containers
- Operate various types of commercial vehicles, including roll off trucks, rear loader trucks, tractor-trailers, and flatbeds
- Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations while operating vehicles
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure they are in proper working condition
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, pick-ups, and vehicle maintenance
- Communicate with dispatchers and customers to coordinate delivery schedules
Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role
- Experience operating manual transmission vehicles is required
- Previous experience driving roll off trucks or other commercial vehicles is preferred
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical labor on a daily basis
Skills:
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Commercial driver's license (CDL) is required
- Strong knowledge of traffic laws and safety regulations
- Excellent driving skills with the ability to navigate various road conditions
- Ability to operate roll off trucks and other commercial vehicles safely and efficiently
- Strong communication skills to interact with dispatchers, customers, and team members
We offer competitive pay rates for this position.
