Position Overview:

The Presentation and Data Specialist is responsible for the coordination and production of product and fund materials; and, providing input and requirements on new systems or technology enhancements related to these materials.

This position partners closely with multiple departments across GMO, including Global Client Relations, Performance, Technology, Legal & Compliance, and Portfolio Management Teams to create and maintain high-quality presentations, marketing materials, and, as needed, data sources.

The Data and Presentation Specialist role provides substantial exposure to how GMO communicates with clients and prospects about our investment strategies. Additionally, the Specialist will have exposure to GMO Products, data structures, and systems.

The Specialist reports to the Head of Marketing Services.

Responsibilities Include:

• Delivering standard and custom presentations while adhering to specific client deadlines 
• Partnering with investments teams, client service teams, performance, and compliance to develop and maintain materials 
• Ensuring presentation materials are updated and posted to Seismic promptly
• Active participation in Seismic content management and day-to-day end-user support
• Accountability for the quality and accuracy of data-intensive charts and exhibits
• Coordinating presentation development and compliance approvals for new products
• and vehicles
• Contributing to projects to advance the strategic objectives of GMO’s Marketing and Client Services team 

• Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, or related field, or equivalent work experience
• 3 years of related work experience, preferably within the investment industry
• Experience working with Report Automation or Sales Enablement tools
• High-level knowledge of and experience with Excel and PowerPoint
• Advanced charting knowledge/skills desired
• Experience with Photoshop, In Design, Word, and Illustrator, a plus.
• Excellent written and verbal communication capabilities
• Strong organizational and analytical skills
• Competence and interest in independently and quickly learning new concepts and systems 
• Collaborative spirit, given the need to coordinate among Global Client Relations, Marketing, Investment, Compliance, Legal, and Operations Teams
