Position Overview:

We are seeking a motivated and dynamic Inside Sales Representative to join our team. As an Inside Sales Representative at South Atlantic Concrete Products, you will play a crucial role in driving revenue and providing exceptional customer service. Your primary responsibility will be to engage with existing and potential clients, understand their needs, and effectively promote our concrete products. This position is a key link between our customers and our product offerings, and it offers an opportunity for professional growth and a rewarding career in the construction industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Customer Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients and prospects, ensuring their needs are met and inquiries are promptly addressed.
  2. Product Knowledge: Develop a deep understanding of our concrete products, specifications, applications, and benefits to effectively communicate this information to customers.
  3. Sales Support: Assist in the sales process by preparing quotes, proposals, and orders, as well as offering technical assistance to clients.
  4. Prospecting: Identify and target potential customers to expand the company's client base and reach sales targets.
  5. Collaboration: Work closely with the outside sales team, product specialists, and other departments to provide a seamless customer experience.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in Hardscape and/or Natural stone sales a plus but not mandatory; we are open to candidates with a strong willingness to learn.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong customer focus with the ability to understand and address client needs effectively.
  • A team player with a proactive attitude and a willingness to adapt to changing circumstances.
  • Basic understanding of construction materials or concrete products is a plus.
  • Proficiency with sales and CRM software is advantageous.
  • Bilingual proficiency (in Spanish) is a plus but not mandatory.
