GLP Attorneys, P.S., Inc., seeks a Legal Assistant or Senior Legal Assistant to join our team. Upon successful completion of onboarding and training, this position may be considered for a hybrid schedule (in office 3 days/week). The physical office is located in Seattle.

Your role as a Legal Assistant or Senior Legal Assistant encompasses a wide range of tasks. You'll set up new client files, communicate with various parties, manage medical bill payments, address client queries, conduct client reviews, handle client correspondence, manage case records, assist in PIP claims, and ensure account balances are accurate, among other tasks. Your contributions significantly impact outstanding results for our clients.

In this position, you will:

• Work closely with your legal team(s), which consists of an Attorney and a Paralegal. 
• Legal Assistants are responsible for providing a broad range of administrative and operational support to assist their assigned legal team(s) in effectively and efficiently carrying out managing their cases.

Qualified candidates should have experience including:

• Minimum of 1 year of legal assistant experience is required.
• Competence in Microsoft Office products.
• Preference is given to those with experience in plaintiff's personal injury.
• Those that are self-motivated and enjoy multi-tasking. 
• Those that are team-focused and client-oriented.
• Individuals who can balance being detail-oriented with productivity and efficiency.
• A strong writer and familiarity with drafting correspondence.
• Being comfortable with talking to healthcare providers and clients.

GLP Attorneys determines the compensation for positions using local, national, and industry-specific data. We evaluate external equity and the cost of labor/prevailing wages in the relative marketplace for jobs directly comparable to jobs within our firm. For new hires, we strive to make competitive offers allowing the new employee room for future growth. Compensation will be based on the applicant's location, level of experience, education, and specialized knowledge and skills. An employee/candidate with a stronger skill set will receive higher pay. 

The hourly base pay range for a non-exempt Legal Assistant or Senior Legal Assistant in Western Washington is $22.00 - $26.00/hour. This position is bonus-eligible.

GLP Attorneys proudly offers a competitive total rewards package. GLP Attorneys sponsors 90% of the employee premium for those enrolled on the HSA medical plan ($3k deductible), 75% for the base plan ($1k deductible), and 75% for the buy-up plan ($750 deductible). The firm sponsors 25% of all medical dependent coverage. GLP Attorneys sponsors 75% of the employee premium for those enrolled on the vision plan and 25% for those enrolled on a dental plan. Employees are responsible for the premiums for dependent coverage on the vision and dental plans.
