Summary/Objective: Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Broadband Network Gateway (BNG) Engineer with a strong background in IP networking to join our customer’s team. We are seeking an engineer with extensive experience in OSPF, BGP, MPLS, and ISIS, along with automation skills, and proficiency in Python scripting. Preference will be given to candidates with relevant IP certifications and experience working for service providers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and maintain BNG solutions to support broadband services.
• Configure and manage IP networking protocols including OSPF, BGP, MPLS, and ISIS to ensure efficient and reliable network performance.
• Develop and implement automation solutions to streamline network operations and reduce manual intervention.
• Create and maintain Python scripts for network automation and management tasks.
• Troubleshoot and resolve network issues related to BNG and associated IP networking protocols.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of BNG solutions within the broader network architecture.
• Monitor network performance and make recommendations for improvements to enhance reliability and efficiency.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in BNG technologies and IP networking.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Strong expertise in IP networking, particularly with OSPF, BGP, MPLS, and ISIS.
• Experience with network automation tools and Python scripting.
• Relevant IP networking certifications (e.g., CCNP, JNCIP) are highly desirable.
• Proven experience working with service providers and managing large-scale network infrastructures.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Experience:

• Prior experience working for an Internet Service Provider (ISP) or telecommunications company.
• Advanced certifications in IP networking (e.g., CCIE, JNCIE).
• Familiarity with other network automation tools and frameworks.
