Summary

Monitor and enforce safety regulations and programs to ensure a safe and accident-free work environment for all employees. Conducts facility and vehicle handling safety audits for all employees. Assist with conducting OSHA training, and investigating vehicle accidents and injuries.

Responsibilities

Roving patrol to enforce safety regulations (Speeding,cellphone usages, PPE violations etc, Dress Code, & Vehicle handling)

Enforce security protocols (Inspect fence line, check the gate access, etc.)

Monitor the work environment for possible hazards such as slips, trips, falls, electrical shock, and exposure to hazardous chemicals.

Conduct inspections of facilities to ensure a safe working environment.

Conduct training sessions on safety procedures to ensure that all employees are aware of hazards in the workplace.

Conduct investigations regarding accidents and injuries to identify causes.

Assist with company vehicle management.

Assist with safety related projects and training.

Assist with entering accident and injury reports into PMvitals.

Qualifications

Skills

• Ability to understand any and all safety requirements.
• Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions.
• Must be able to speak, read, write, and understand the primary language(s) used in the workplace.
• Bilingual
• Proficient with PC skills: Excel, Word.
• Strong ability to identify and correct errors.
• Competence in reacting and handling emergencies.

Education & Experience

• High School Diploma/GED
• Bachelors degree preferred
• 3 years of safety/security experience preferred
• Experienced in Safety
• Must have a valid state issued Driver's License
