Responsibilities
GLOTECH, Inc. is seeking a Software Engineer to support the corporate office of SeaWorld Parks & Entertainment, located in Orlando, Florida. SeaWorld is a world-renowned leader in the themed-park and entertainment industry. We are seeking an experienced software engineer to work collaboratively with our business stakeholders, product, data services and BI teams to design, develop, and implement enterprise grade, decoupled and highly cohesive solutions that drive our business forward.
- Work with the business, infrastructure, IT applications, and data teams to understand business problems, technology context, and communicate functional and non-functional requirements
- Design, develop, and maintain enterprise-grade software solutions that are decoupled and highly cohesive that adhere to software engineering best practices, including automated testing
- Support management of the team's technical infrastructure (e.g., repository, build system, testing system) with collaboration/guidance from system engineering leadership
- Communicate solution/design intent and discuss architectural trade-offs with IT and business stakeholders
Qualifications
- 7 years of software engineering - designing, developing and maintaining software solutions using containerization, RESTful API microservices, and/or cloud native functions
- Experience using appropriate architectural patterns for implementing microservices alongside legacy/monoliths
- Experience with Agile methodologies and DevOps delivery
- Experience building on .net, Azure, Kubernetes, Azure DevOps
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Hybrid schedule, with availability to work onsite in Orlando, FL, as needed
