Position : Associate - PE Secondaries (and some co-investing)

Our Client is a multi-billion global private equity firm headquartered in New York City specializing in secondary investments in leveraged buyout funds, as well as co-investments alongside those general partners.

The firm seeks an Associate to assist in assessing potential secondary and co-investments, and in managing its existing portfolio.

• Assist the investment team in conducting due diligence on various private equity funds and managers and assess the merits of investment opportunities
• Review annual and quarterly reports and financial statements of LBO / venture / energy / mezzanine funds;
• Analyze the long-term viability of portfolio companies, the market for their products / services, their financing needs, and the fund's exit options;
• Participate in deal meetings to determine price, structuring and negotiation tactics;
• Portfolio management, quarterly and annual portfolio reporting;
• Prepare investment analysis for presentation to the Investment Committee

QUALIFICATIONS :

• 1-4 years of experience in investment banking, private equity or investment management
