Data Analyst I
Primary Duties & Responsibilities
This position reports to the Manager of Technical Analytics supporting Customer Retention and is responsible for a full range of activities related to data analysis, planning, development, deployment, and support of new and existing projects impacting multiple business units and business processes.
**Qualified applicants must be authorized to work in the United States, and immigration and work visa sponsorship will not be provided to any applicant.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities
Track and analyze business unit trends and make appropriate recommendations that will positively impact the department to create new, or maximize existing initiatives based on the routine reporting and data that the analyst manages.
Interact with users, management, and other team members to establish process design and requirements.
Complete reporting that tracks and measures the performance of initiatives.
Identify opportunities by using data analysis and exploration (Tableau, SQL, AWS Redshift, MS Excel, R and other data mining tools) to monitor, extract and evaluate data in order to streamline reporting processes.
Present findings and insights to leadership.
Test, implement, maintain, and support new processes.
Required Skills
  • Ability to work with and analyze large quantities of data
  • Must be able to see the big picture while having an exceptionally detail-oriented focus
  • Strong (Advanced) Excel proficiency is required
  • Advanced SQL database experience including table builds, complex queries, procedures, and views
  • Experience with SSIS and other ETL tools
  • Familiarity with AWS Redshift
  • Design, develop, and deploy data visualizations in Tableau (preferred)
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with experience in meeting deadlines
  • Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills
  • Experience managing multiple projects with ability to shift priorities when needed
  • Experience working in both a team and individual environment
  • Strong technical, analytical, interpersonal and communication skills, both oral and written

  • Reliable and predictable attendance of your assigned shift
  • Ability to work full time and/or part time based on the position specifications.
Required Knowledge & Experience
Bachelor's degree with an emphasis in Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Business or Finance
2 years' experience as an Analyst
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize time with minimal supervision
Strong analytical skills
