Job Description
The Data Analyst role at our company is pivotal for steering data-driven decisions and strategies. This position primarily focuses on extracting and analyzing data from various sources using automated tools. The incumbent will be instrumental in designing and maintaining databases and data architectures, while also employing statistical tools to decode complex data sets to draw actionable insights.
Responsibilities
- Use automated tools to extract data from database and application API sources.
- Ensure data integrity by rectifying corrupted data and fixing coding errors.
- Design, deploy, and sustain databases and data architectures.
- Delve deep into data analysis to assess data quality and understand its implications.
- Use statistical tools to decipher intricate data sets, extracting actionable patterns and trends.
- Develop insightful management reports that support our commitment to data-driven strategies.
- Engage with organizational leaders and business analysts to identify opportunities for process improvements, system refinements, and robust data governance models.
- Prepare analysis reports for the stakeholders enabling them to make informed, strategic decisions based on facts and trends
- Use the Microsoft Power Platform to deliver compelling PowerBI dashboards.
- Train users to harness the power of data, reports, and dashboards.
- Other duties as assigned by the Company.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field. Equally, we value extensive experience that can stand in lieu of formal education.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience related to data analysis or modeling in a software domain.
- Experience in a product-centric environment working with software engineers and product managers.
- Experience with a business intelligence suite and the modeling of business data.
- Technical Competencies:
- Solid SQL skills and experience in crafting complex queries.
- Demonstrable experience with automation tools, such as Zapier, Integromat, or Make.
- Expertise in building data visualizations using PowerBI or other business intelligence solution.
- Experience with Python in a full production deployment environment.
Technical Competencies
- Solid SQL skills and experience in crafting complex queries.

Desirable Skills:
- Familiarity with Azure ecosystems, including Azure SQL.

- Excellent problem-solving skills, and the self-motivation to improve skills.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
