Reporting to the Director for International Programs, the Senior Program Officer for International Programs is responsible for the programmatic and operational management of international programs. Provides oversight of site operations and assures that all Global Refuge principles and practices are followed in order to implement high-quality services. Ensures the effectiveness and quality of services through supportive program management, monitoring, data management, trend analysis and evaluation, and training and technical assistance to Global Refuge programs operating outside of the U.S. Responds to changes in needs and trends as well as gaps in services. Monitors programs in real-time to ensure compliance and carry out on-site and virtual training and technical assistance to programs abroad.
Actively liaises between Global Refuge, field staff, and other stakeholders to support and ensure service excellence. Interacts with donors and program funders. Provides case staffing support for challenging cases, especially those involving trafficking concerns, domestic and community violence, law enforcement, or other serious categories. Master's degree in social work or related field along with substantial experience required. S/he closely collaborates with the Director for International Programs to ensure the successful execution of high-quality reintegration and humanitarian services.
This position can be remote with trips to Baltimore as needed.
