IT Project Manager

The IT Project Manager will be responsible for planning, executing, and closing projects within the specified scope, time, and budget constraints. The IT Project Manager will collaborate with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, staff, and vendors to ensure the successful delivery of IT projects that align with the organization's strategic goals.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

- Working with the IT and PIM staff to drive the goals of our Product Information Management data architecture, channels, vendors, attributes, variants, and digital asset management to meet the goals we have established. This will maintain and document the baseline scope for all product requirements for all divisions and staff moving forward.

- Project Planning and Execution:

• Develop comprehensive project plans outlining scope, goals, deliverables, timelines, resources, and budget.
• Coordinate project activities, allocate tasks, and ensure timely completion of milestones.
• Monitor project progress and adjust as necessary to ensure successful delivery.

- Stakeholder Communication:

• Act as the primary point of contact for project stakeholders, ensuring effective and transparent communication.
• Provide regular project updates to stakeholders, management, and team members.
• Address concerns, issues, and risks promptly to maintain project momentum and documentation.

- Team Collaboration:

• Foster a collaborative and positive team environment.
• Facilitate communication and collaboration among team members to achieve project goals.

- Risk Management:

• Identify, assess, and manage project risks.
• Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies to ensure project success.
• Proactively address issues and challenges to minimize impact on project timelines and deliverables.

- Quality Assurance:

• Ensure that project deliverables meet quality standards and comply with relevant regulations.
• Implement and enforce best practices for project management and IT development methodologies.

- Budget and Resource Management:

• Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring cost-effectiveness and adherence to financial constraints.
• Optimize resource allocation to maximize efficiency and project success.

- Documentation:

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation.
• Prepare and present project reports to management and stakeholders.
• Provide reports in Power BI and other tools to answer business questions.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, or related field.
• Proven experience (3 years) in IT project management, successfully delivering projects on time and within budget.
• Strong understanding of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall) and experience adapting them to fit project requirements.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Solid understanding of IT systems, infrastructure, and development processes.
• PMP, PRINCE2, or other project management certifications are a plus.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Familiarity with relevant technologies and tools in the IT industry.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
• Ability to deliver time-pressured projects on-time and on-quality.
• Must be a U.S. citizen or a U.S. permanent resident (Green Card holder)

• This role is onsite in either our Sarasota or Tampa offices.

Physical Demands & Abilities

• Regularly spend long hours sitting and using office equipment and computers
• Regularly move from sitting to standing positions effortlessly
• Frequently work on projects that require deadlines

Working Conditions

• Work will be mostly completed in a climate-controlled office environment, but often requires working in the climate-controlled warehouse.
