Position Overview:

Under the direction and leadership of the General Manager, the Account Manager has the overall responsibility to ensure that all cargo station operations are performed in a consistent manner with the agreed procedures and protocol in accordance with company, TSA, airport, and client standards. The Account Manager (AMs) direct, plan, organize, and coordinate with collaboration from Supervisors, the day-to-day operations of the Cargo Warehouse security officers.


Essential Functions (include but not limited to):
Under the direction and leadership of the General Manager, the Account Manager has the overall responsibility to ensure that all cargo station operations are performed in a consistent manner with the agreed procedures and protocol in accordance with company, TSA, airport, and client standards. The Account Manager (AMs) direct, plan, organize, and coordinate with collaboration from Supervisors, the day-to-day operations of the Cargo Warehouse security officers. The Account Manager (AMs) direct, plan, organize, and coordinate with collaboration from Supervisors, the day-to-day operations of the Aviation Security Officer force.

Responsibilities:

  • Serves as a key point of contact to ensure the delivery of high-quality customer service for the assigned account; evaluates service quality and initiates any necessary communication and/or corrective action in a timely manner.
  • Has the overall responsibility to ensure that all station operations are performed in a consistent manner with the agreed procedures and protocol in accordance with company, TSA, airport, and client standards. The Account Managers (AMs) direct, plan, and organize (with the help of subordinates) the day-to-day operations of the Cargo Security Officers.
  • Responsible for station staffing, including obtaining coverage for open post(s), up to and including standing posts when necessary. Responsible to ensure that staffing and scheduled hours are in accordance with the contractual agreement with the client
  • Administering payroll reporting within the established guidelines and deadlines;
  • Ensure cost-effective measures across the station with an emphasis on efficient use of staff, minimize overtime, and maximize availability of employees across all operational needs; responsible for station compliance relating to all reporting procedures; administer procedural changes and ensure they are communicated effectively and efficiently with staff
  • Conduct daily briefings and occasional staff meetings; complete daily testing and spot checks within the guide with the Training and QA department, document and report according to company procedures
  • Coordinate with the Training and Compliance department on all training (initial and recurrent) of station personnel
  • Safeguarding company equipment and vehicles; act as a liaison between the company and clients, and company and local airport authorities, up to and including attending all local airport authority and client meetings and maintaining reports on topics covered
  • Provide exceptional customer service to our clients; maintain accurate records and timely filing of all personnel updates in employment status
  • Follow HR guidelines and administer any required progressive discipline outlined in the company handbook
  • Ensure fair treatment of all employees at all times in alignment with company and EEOC guidelines and standards.
  • Evaluate station attendance and performance deficiencies and administer corrective measures in accordance with Human Resources policies.
  • Administer payroll reporting within the established guidelines and deadlines.

  • Responsible for station compliance relating to all reporting procedures; administer procedural changes and ensure they are communicated effectively and efficiently with staff.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • HS Diploma or GED
  • Must have a clean and valid Driver’s License, and retain it throughout the course of employment
  • Must obtain and maintain throughout the course of employment a valid SIDA badge with Customs seal and driver designation as distributed by local airport authority and US Customs and Border Patrol
  • Must obtain and maintain throughout the course of employment a valid security guard license issued by the state
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office and Outlook
  • Minimum (4) years security experience
  • Minimum (5) years in supervisory/managerial role with experience in scheduling
  • Minimum (5) years of experience working in the aviation and/or cargo security industry

  • A proactive thinker with an outgoing personality who is comfortable speaking in front of groups and interacting with company colleagues and employees.
  • Must have great intrapersonal skills and be able to communicate effectively at various social levels across many diverse cultures
  • Must be able to pass any initial and recurrent training classes as administered by the company, and/or local airport authority
  • Must have experience working with basic office equipment (copier, scanner, fax, printer)
  • Must be proficient with Microsoft Office and Outlook
  • A.C.E certification preferred
