Overview:
The Operations Manager is responsible for assisting management in the oversight and management of assigned governmental contracts. This position is responsible for safely overseeing and performing duties as detailed in the PWS or other contracted services. Quality customer service is expected to be provided to the customer at all times.
Minimum Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
•Experience:
o Must have a minimum of two (2) years of experience in business services or a related field.
o Must have a minimum of one (1) year of experience in supervising or leading teams.
o Must have experience dealing with government personnel/customers in relation to contracted services.
•Must have knowledge and willingness to learn all aspects of the job.
•Must have basic computer knowledge (Excel, Microsoft Word, etc.).
•Must interact appropriately with customers and team members.
•Must have good management communication (writing and verbal) and people skills.
•Must be physically able to perform general tasks detailed in the assigned contract(s).
•Must possess a valid driver's license in the state they reside, have a satisfactory driving record, and be insurable under the corporate policy.
•Must meet eligibility requirements for work assignment on the specified contract(s).
•Must be able to obtain and maintain a Security Clearance.
•Must be able to pass organization screening requirements, including state or federal background screenings, as appropriate.
Team Leadership (Supervisory)
•Assist in interviewing, selecting, and training team members to enhance the workforce's productivity and efficiency.
•Manage team members to promote maximum productivity, achievement of program goals, and favorable team member retention.
•Participate in annual team member performance evaluations for all direct reports.
•Address team member complaints per company policies and procedures.
•Assist management with disciplining team members per company policies and procedures.
•Assist with supervisory administrative duties, including weekly scheduling, timesheets, expense reports, etc.
•Maintain current competence through continuing education.
•Maintain compliance with mandatory training requirements.
